This is page converts among four temperature scales: fahrenheit, celsius,
kelvin, and rankine.
It has some limitations:
It requires JavaScript. If your browser does not handle JavaScript, this page
won't work. However, you can see the same basic information in the Temperature Scales page.
It displays the results of all calculations to two decimal places only. If you needed
more than that, you probably wouldn't be trusting some web page. Because of round-off
errors, the calculations probably aren't good to much more than two places, anyway.
It will allow you to calculate
temperatures below absolute zero (i.e. below
zero kelvin and rankine.) Such temperatures are physically dubious, so the
page gives you a warning message. However, if you want to look at negative absolute
temperatures, the web page will oblige.
Some browsers which support JavaScript nevertheless have trouble getting started,
so you may need to click on the "Convert Temperature" button more than once, especially
if the page has just loaded.
